UNDENATURED COLLAGEN+ TURMERIC

The two patented active ingredients contained in Collanol® - undenatured collagen type II (UC-II®) and micelle turmeric extract (NovaSOL®) - work synergistically to actively restore the normal state of joints, tendons and cartilage and help improve mobility.

Undenatured collagen

In medicine, five main types of collagen are known, and only one of them is responsible for joints, tendons and cartilage - it is collagen type II. Undenatured collagen type II, also called intact, which is contained in Collanol® is obtained from chicken cartilage through a patented low-temperature manufacturing process, in which the natural three-dimensional collagen helix remains intact. Thanks to this triple helix, once in the small intestine, intact type II collagen triggers an immune response called oral tolerance.

Special immune cells (Treg) are activated, which have the ability to stop the process of degradation of joint cartilage and, with prolonged exposure, turn it in the direction of reactivating the natural process of collagen synthesis in the human body. As a result, the self-repair and reconstruction of cartilaginous tissues is stimulated.

Because of its unique mechanism of action, undenatured collagen type II has high efficiency at low doses – only 40 mg per day (the exact amount contained in 1 Collanol® capsule).

Micelle curcumin

The effectiveness of Collanol® is further enhanced by the inclusion of the highly concentrated micelle extract of NovaSOL® turmeric, which is a rich source of the substance curcumin. Curcumin has powerful antioxidant potential. It has been clinically proven that thanks to its patented solubilizing technology and micelle formula, the curcumin embedded in Collanol® achieves 185 times higher bioavailability compared to regular turmeric extract. This determines its high efficacy at low doses. Laboratory tests show that 500 mg of micelle curcumin is equivalent to approximately 5000 mg of natural, raw curcumin powder. Thanks to the antioxidant properties of curcumin and its ability to cleanse the body of nitric oxide, Collanol® contributes to a slower course of cell aging processes and to maintaining the health and activity of:
